Home Delivery Routing Software

Real-time Home Delivery Software

MJC²'s home delivery routing software dynamically optimizes and schedules delivery slots and routes based on real-time demand and resource availability.

Deliveries and collections are automatically assigned to vehicles and drivers, simultaneously optimizing the routes and balance of work to ensure good utilisation of capacity while being responsive to customer demand.

Our home delivery software is ideally suited for supermarkets, white goods/ furniture delivery companies (2-man), and parcel and same-day delivery operations.

Delivery Route Optimization

Integrated load building algorithms optimize vehicle fill, modelling business rules and constraints such as multi-temperature deliveries, multiple case sizes and picking/loading capacity.

Electric delivery vehicle characteristics such as range, charging schedules and vehicle capacity, and access constraints such as low emission zones and noise restrictions are also included.

Achievable Delivery Windows

Accurate modelling of operational and routing constraints ensures that the resulting schedules are efficient and achievable, making good use of vehicles and drivers while maintaining high service levels.

MJC²'s vehicle routing algorithms are very fast, allowing replanning of large operations at the last minute in response to disruptions such as poor weather, unplanned absence/breakdowns or late arrival of inbound freight.

Ad hoc scheduling of collections during the shift, or dynamic planning of later delivery waves based on actual performance, can be achieved using our real-time scheduling software.

Live updates from GPS and in-cab/smartphone systems can be used to monitor and respond to deviations from plan and to facilitate planned vs. actual analysis.

Strategic Home Delivery Network Optimization

Slot profiles and depot/store territories can be optimized using our strategic logistics optimization software, taking into account site capacity constraints and required service levels.

Integration with our linehaul planning and distribution scheduling software toolsets enables end-to-end optimization of the entire network, from supplier/shipper to hubs and sortation centres and on to last-mile delivery depots.
